Colors
Caliper uses pairs: every background has a foreground color so text stays readable when you change one.

Keep contrast at 4.5:1 for text; the presets do.
Typography
Heading, body and a technical font (used for part numbers, spec labels and eyebrows). The presets pair a sans with a monospaced face; any font from the Shopify library works. Heading and body size sliders scale the whole theme.
Layout
Page width (narrow, default, wide), minimum page margin, space between sections, corner radii for buttons, inputs and cards, and the grid texture behind the hero and dark panels. Turn the texture off for a flatter look. Reveal sections on scroll fades sections in as they enter the screen (never for visitors who prefer reduced motion).
Cart
- Cart type: slide-out drawer or the cart page.
- Free shipping threshold: a progress bar in the cart ("Spend $40 more for free shipping"). Set it in your store's default currency; 0 hides it.
- Recommendations in the cart drawer: three related products with Add.
- Gift wrapping product: create a product called Gift wrapping; customers add or remove it with a checkbox in the cart.
- Terms before checkout: a required checkbox; accelerated checkout buttons are hidden while it is on.
- Back-to-top button.
Vehicle fitment
Metafield name, filter parameter, vehicle list file, value separator and level labels. See Vehicle fitment.
Product cards
Vendor, SKU, fit badge, color swatches, quick add button, second image on hover, image ratio. Enable product compare adds the compare checkbox and bar; Compare specs metafield names the metafield used for the comparison rows.
Right-to-left languages
Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu switch the layout to right-to-left automatically when the language is published in Settings → Languages.

Links for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and X; icons appear in the footer.
Favicon
A square image, scaled to 32 px.
