One maker.
Since 2008.
FantasyThemes is a one-person WordPress workshop. Alex Gurghis designs the themes, writes the code and answers the tickets.
No sales team, no support queue passed between shifts. When you write, the person who replies is the one who can change the code.
Themes for businesses that list, book and sell.
Alex has been building for the web since 2004. In 2008 he started selling themes on ThemeForest as half of Themes Dojo, and spent ten years there making job boards, classified-ads sites and real estate themes.
Those years taught one thing above all: a business theme is not judged by its home page. It is judged on the day the owner has to add the two-hundredth listing, take a payment, or find out why an enquiry never arrived.
FantasyThemes opened in 2018 to make themes that start from that day. Each Royal theme is built around one trade, and the parts that trade runs on are inside the theme: the inventory, the bookings, the dashboards, the paid listings.
In 2026 the workshop made its first plugin. EventMail came out of a question customers kept asking, how to write to the people who sign up, and it is free.
The long game
Eighteen years, on one line.
House rules
Four things every theme promises.
The trade comes built in.
Inventory, bookings, listings, leads, paid placements. The parts a business runs on are in the theme, not left to a stack of plugins.
Updates for the life of the theme.
Buy once on ThemeForest and every later version is yours. This year autoRoyal and RoyalTickets were both reworked for current PHP and WordPress.
Everything is written down.
Each theme has its own documentation, from installing it to the last setting.
Support from the author.
Tickets are read and answered by the person who wrote the code. No queue, no script.
Alex always had a beautiful solution.
