Do I need an app for vehicle fitment? No. Fitment is a product metafield and a Shopify filter. See Vehicle fitment. Apps that write metafields can fill the data in bulk.
How many vehicles can the finder handle? With a CSV file, thousands; the demo uses 1,200 with no visible delay. Without a file, Shopify's filter exposes 100 values, so use the file above that.
Can I use the finder for something that isn't a vehicle? Yes. The three levels are labels you set: brand / platform / model, printer family / model / cartridge, and so on.
Where do the specifications come from? A product metafield (custom.specs) with one Label | Value row per entry. The same rows feed the compare table.
Why doesn't search find my OEM numbers? Shopify search doesn't index metafields. Add the numbers as product tags as well; the cross reference block links each number to a search.
Can I change the fonts? Yes, any font from the Shopify font library, in Theme settings → Typography. Keep a monospaced technical font for part numbers if you can; it is part of what makes catalogs readable.
Is the theme translated? English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch are included. Other languages can be added in Shopify's Translate & Adapt app.
Does it work with Shopify Markets and B2B? Yes: country and language selectors in the footer, B2B quantity rules and price breaks on the product page and in order tables.
Which apps are compatible? Any app that uses app blocks or app embeds. Product page app blocks go in the blocks area under the buy box.
Why do product images have a grey background? The card background is the "Soft fill" color, designed for cut-out product photos. Change it in Theme settings → Colors, or use photos with their own background.
