A day after 3.1 comes 3.1.1. It adds almost nothing you can see and corrects a great deal you cannot.
Escaping, everywhere
More than 3,000 places where the theme prints text were reviewed: esc_html() for text, esc_attr() for attributes, and the right escaping for callto: and mailto: links. 271 translation calls that were echoed twice were corrected.
One real bug
A rental vehicle without extra options caused a fatal error. That is fixed.
Housekeeping
- The filter that allows extra upload types moved from the theme to the plugin.
- The old favicon code is gone; WordPress has handled the site icon itself since version 4.3.
- Two block styles were added: a rounded button and a shadowed image.
- Slider Revolution is now registered with the plugin installer.
