The first step in setting up your JobRoyal-powered website is to install WordPress and the JobRoyal plugin itself. Before you do so, check your hosting environment. As a guide, we recommend:
- PHP version 7 or greater
- MySQL version 5.6 or greater, or MariaDB version 10.0 or greater
- A WordPress memory limit of 128 MB or greater
- HTTPS support
You should also check the WordPress requirements.
PHP 5.2.4+ and MySQL 5.0+ have reached end of life and are no longer maintained. As such, they may expose your site to security vulnerabilities.
